Participate in the coolest Unconference ‘SPACE UP’ GLIC Munich!
The innovative Unconference SpaceUp GLIC Munich will “unofficially” start the Global Space Innovation Conference – GLIC 2015 (Munich, 23 June) co-organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology.
The concept of SpaceUps arised in 2010 in San Diego from a group of space enthusiasts who decided that there was the need for an Unconference to discuss the topics of their own interest.
This new approach encourages all attendees to give a demo, present a talk, or participate in a panel or roundtable. Sessions are planned on the spot, which means attendees are sure to be talking about topics interesting them.
Usually, during these Unconferences, new businesses are started, problems get solved, projects are kicked off, plans are hatched, and amazing friendships are born. SpaceUp has many sessions going on at the same time: there will be a session grid, a giant board with all the available sessions listed on it. There are lots of sessions going on at once, so there is no excuse to be bored! Mostly important, SpaceUp attendees will be able to enjoy plenty of food, and it will be available at all times. Those wanting to take part in SpaceUp GLIC Munich and not being able to be there in person, can also contribute by sending a one-minute video like a mini talk.
The Space UP and IAF main goal is to bring more awesome people together to share their passion and excitement about space.
