The ViviSat Mission Extension Vehicle (MEV) is a vehicle currently under development capable of of docking with an operational geosynchronous satellite, providing supplementary propulsion system. This approach enables mission extension for satellites that have run out of maneuvering fuel while they still have functioning payloads.

Vivisat is a company funded by U.S. Space LLC and ATK Aerospace Systems. U.S. Space is responsible for marketing,
business operations and mission management. ATK is the mission prime contractor, responsible for manufacture and delivery of the spacecraft, launch and ground segments.
