New Crew Boards International Space Station

On November 16, the Soyuz TMA-22 carrying three Expedition 29 crew members docked with the International Space Station. The new crew brings the Expedition 29 to a full complement of six.

Flight Engineers NASA astronaut Dan Burbank, Russian cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin, and Russian cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov set to work after an initial briefing. Burbank is participating in his third ISS rotation. Ivanishin and Shkaplerov are on their first spaceflight.

The original Expedition 29 crew will depart ISS on November 21 with their replacements, Expedition 30 flight engineers NASA astronaut Don Petit, cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, and ESA astronaut Andre Kuipers  scheduled to launch to the station on December 21.
