The Secure World Foundation is closing its European liaison office in Brussels due to financial constraints, the organization announced on September 9.
“We have made wonderful progress in our relationship with European institutions dedicated to sustainable use of outer space,” said Foundation Executive Director, Dr. Michael Simpson, “but Brussels is a very expensive city and the challenges of supporting an office there proved to be more than we could sustain.”
Secure World Foundation promotes international collaboration to achieve sustainable access to outer space. The Foundation’s remaining offices are in Broomfield, Colorado and Washington D.C.
