On April 17, Space Shuttle Discovery is scheduled to take to the air one more time – atop a NASA shuttle carrier aircraft. The shuttle is to be delivered from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to the Smithsonian Air & Space Udvar-Hazy Museum at Dulles International Airport in Virginia. The shuttle and carrier are likely to be visible across the region between 10 and 11 AM local time. Observers can share the best viewing spots using the Twitter hashtag #spottheshuttle.
