On September 16, astronaut Sunita Williams, who just became commander of the International Space Station with the end of Expedition 32, completed the first ever triathlon in space. Williams ran, cycled, and even simulated swimming onboard the station accompanying the Malibu Triathlon occurring hundreds of kilometers below. “I’m happy to be done,” Williams said after she crossed the “finish line.” “It wasn’t easy, and I’m sure everybody in California’s very happy to be done too.”
