SES, a major satellite operator managing a fleet of 51 geostationary telecommunications satellites, has put together a behind the scenes documentary of the satellite business. The film covers all important activities related to satellite operations: from manufacturing of the spacecraft, launch and operation of a satellite to explaining the role of satellites in emerging markets.
The Luxembourg-based company just put its 51st satellite, SES-5, in orbit from aboard a Proton-M launcher. Their next satellite is scheduled to launch in September aboard an Ariane 5.
