International Space Station Expedition 30/31 astronaut Don Pettit is known for his demonstrations of physical principles using common objects in microgravity. In his latest demonstration, Pettit shows what happens when water droplets are placed on sound speakers. Watch the effect of low frequency tones and ZZ Tops on water in space:
Through a partnership between NASA and the American Physical Society you can participate in Pettit’s physics challenge and view future experiments here: http://www.physicscentral.com/sots
