Producing Solar Space Killers: Gamma Rays

Gamma rays supply the most hazardous radiation to which crew and satellites in are exposed in space. Gamma rays come from every direction in what are known as Galactic Rays. But Gamma rays are also a product of solar flares. The video below demonstrates one process by which flares produce these rays.
