The source of a leak in Astronaut Luca Parmitano’s spacesuit that prompted a premature return to the International Space Station for space walkers Parmitano and Chris Cassidy on July 16  has yet to be isolated. In the meantime, Cassidy has given us a first hand account of what it was like to experience that emergency, which could so easily have ended in tragedy. In a word: scary.
